Today's Friday Five questions are oh so perfect!

Nikki, Tyrone and I were just talking about the 80s yesterday. Well mostly songs of the 80s, but now we can expand our discussion of the infamous decade.

Here's the answer to today's FF questions:

1) Favourite movie of the 1980s?

I don't remember watching a lot of movies during the 80s, but thanks to the movie channels, Blockbuster Video, and Netflix I am now somewhat up to date in that department.

Below are some of my favorites:

The Big Chill, Some Kind of Wonderful, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, When Harry Met Sally, Pretty Woman (Richard Gere taking Julia out to shop, still brings tears in my eyes!), Full Metal Jacket, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusades

2) Favourite musician/group of the 1980s?

Michael Jackson. A cousin of mine called it the "pre-lunacy" stage.

On the flip side, I was also into Psychadelic Furs, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, Wham! and Tears for Fears.

3) Favourite TV show of the 1980s?

The A-Team, The Equalizer, MacGyver, Murphy Brown, Cosby Show, Perfect Strangers, 21 Jump Street

4) Favourite invention of the 1980s?

The Walkman (Sony)!

5) World Event from the 1980s that stands out in your mind?

Haley's Comet, Reagan assassination, People Power Revolution
