As much as I love the Filipino language, some aspects of it can just really get annoying.
Perhaps not the language itself, but how we Filipinos use it.
A good example is my most recent phone conversation with my Mother.
Mom: Alam mo yung bagong computer namin, merong kasamang "All-In-One" printer.
You know that new computer we got came with an "All-In-One" printer.
Mom: Eh kailangan daw i-activate yung ano at kailangan daw sa office. Tinatawagan nya kanina para i-activate yung ano.
They need to activate IT and it has to be done at the office. He was calling the company to activate it.
Me: What is it that needs to be activated?
Mom: Yung ano nga...basta yung ano kailangan daw i-activate pa. Sabi ko intayin na lang pag dating nyo.
IT has to be activated. I told him to just wait until you get here.
Me: Ano nga yung "ano" at "yun" that needs to be activated?
What is this thing or it
For the next minute or two, she kept on repeating the same sentence and I kept on asking her what is it that she's referring to.
I finally gave up. I told her I have to get back at work and that as far as I know, nothing needs to be activated.
But do you see where IT can get very frustrating???

I have heard that computer problems even led to divorce and murders.
Some even go mad!
