Juan Chua Samson
(AUG 29, 1929 - MAY 14, 2010)
He has always been "Tito John" to me because he didn't want being called Grandpa/Lolo. I remember how he always had friends over to play mahjong or pusoy (poker) with. He had a very entrepreneurial spirit and catered to the vices of the masses by selling beer and cigarettes at his home. He raised chickens in our yard so he'll never have to buy eggs or chicken. He was opinionated and stubborn, and very independent. Johnny Baby left behind 6 daughters and 1 son, and a slew of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
May you rest in peace, Tito John. You are in God's hands now and will be seeing Mamang, Auntie Beng, and my Dad again. Please hug them for us.
