Here I am...

We've been in LexKy for two weeks now,
and well, nothing much has happened.
I'm still looking for a job.
At this point I'll take any job - except anything
in the food industry. I can't...I just won't!

The past 2 weeks we've been pretty busy.
More Jay than me actually.
My main task was to keep Emma away from
him while he's rearranging furnitures,
unpacking his clothes, hanging pictures, etc.
The main floor looks pretty awesome now.
Same goes with the bedrooms and the kitchen.
The basement is a totally different story.

In the midst of that we have been driving around LexKy.
Trying to remember how to get to - Target, Joseph-Beth,
Lexington Public Library, Krogers, and the Liquor Barn.
Beer is banned from the house, but wine is okay :smiles:

For the past 2 weeks, I have not slep on the same bed as Jay.
I've been sleeping with Emma in her room.
The routine is - put Emma to sleep on her own bed, then sneak out.
She wakes up in the middle of night, not finding me beside her
she gets up, goes into our room and wakes me up.
I move her back to her room, but by the time she goes back to sleep,
she has her legs and arms around me so I can't leave.
I'm usually too sleepy anyway to get up and move again.

Speaking of Emma - she has already figured out
the hiding place of Grandma's potato chips, pretzels, and donuts.
She woke up this morning at 4:30 AM, and instead of asking for
milk like she normally does...she asked for "chips!"
What's a sleepy and tired Mom to do?
So there she was at 4:40 AM munching on chips.

That's our first 2 weeks here in the Bluegrass State.
I shouldn't really be messing around and posting here,
I was supposed to be down here in the basement, transferring
my brother's things in plastic bags.
We are driving to Henderson, KY in the morning to bring
him the clothes he left in NYC and in MD.

Before I sign off, a shout out to my dear hubby.
Happy Birthday...love you! mwaaah!

PS
Suedoc - hope you are enjoying your inheritance from your uncle.
(That's a box of liquor for those of you who are wondering.)
